The focus is, again, on the quality of ingredients. As well as the demi-baguette being made in-house using stoneground, organic flour, the ham is, of course, free range and rare breed and, for our cheese ploughman's, we have chosen a modern classic, Black Bomber.

A classic favourite, but taste the difference when crafted at the Angel Inn, with only the best ingredients, so that it tastes how it would have done in your great grandparent's day, before intensive farming, unnecessary additives and supermarkets were invented.

- 70g Black Bomber, award wining, artisan cheddar
- Borettane onions pickled in Balsamic vinegar
- Angel Inn lightly spiced coleslaw
- Crisp fresh apple - just how the ploughman likes it!

- Raw butter from Fen Farm Dairy
- Demi-baguette - freshly baked at the Angel with just stone-ground flour, yeast, water and a pinch of Maldon sea salt

Nibbler*, a delightful ruby ale from the the Norfolk Brewhouse (aka Moongazer) is our favourite accompaniment that we would recommend for this traditional, classic board.

Just like the cheese ploughman's above but with rare-breed, free-range ham from Thatched House Farm, where the pigs run freely in the woods*

Sharing Ploughman's from £15.5
The ploughman's lunch is designed as a lunch for one, but can be shared as a light snack for two. Alternatively, we can combine boards (one ham & two cheese, shown below, for example) onto larger boards for two or more to share.

Please talk to our staff if you have any allergens. In the small kitchen there is a high likelihood of cross contamination including from nuts, dairy, and gluten products, which feature highly in our cuisine.
