We have teamed up with H&J of Beccles to provide you with the very best Gelato. It’s so good it can be simply served on its own. Alternatively take some away in a cone – one two or three scoops - or why not add it to one of our homemade cakes? We are currently serving:
Apart from the great taste, like us, their aim is to source the best quality ingredients in the most sustainable, social and environmental way and, whenever possible, fresh & locally sourced. Milk is the main ingredient and comes from Oaklands Farm, just outside Beccles, where E S Burroughs & Son's free-range herd is well cared for.

What is Gelato?
Gelato is the Italian word for ice cream but unlike traditional English ice-cream our Gelato contains no egg and has a higher proportion of milk and a lower proportion of cream. It is churned at a much slower rate, leaving the gelato denser than ice cream. Traditional ice cream is airier and has a higher fat content, gelato is softer and packed with more flavour.
Please talk to our staff if you have any allergens. In the small kitchen there is a high likelihood of cross contamination including from nuts, dairy, and gluten products, which feature highly in our cuisine.
